About us
“Learn more about our rich history and what makes 4th Brightlingsea Scouts special.”
“We are an active Scout Group located on the east coast of Essex, between Clacton and Colchester, in the Scouting district of Colchester Estuary. Our group is committed to developing young people through fun activities and skill-building experiences.”

Our Sections
At 4th Brightlingsea Scout Group, we offer exciting and engaging programmes across three sections, each tailored to the age and development of the children involved.

Beavers (Ages 6-8)
The Beaver Scouts focus on having fun, making friends, and learning new skills. Activities include games, crafts, and outdoor adventures. Beavers meet weekly and often have short trips and outings

Cubs (Ages 8-10)
Cubs take on more challenges, from learning practical skills to exploring the outdoors. They participate in camping, hikes, and community projects. Cubs work towards achieving their badges and growing as young leaders.

Scouts (Ages 10-14)
Scouts are encouraged to take on greater challenges and responsibilities. Activities range from adventure camps and orienteering to building shelters and learning first aid. Scouts work towards earning their badges and developing life skills
